We reserve the right the make changes to our policies, as we expand our services in other parts of the world, add new features, or support new policies and practices to make user aware of such changes.

Order Plate Utopia's website (www.orderplate.in) is managed and controlled by One Media Center LLC USA, One Media India and/or its affiliates are being referred as the "Company, we, us and ours" for the remainder of this document. We respect your privacy and we are committed to protecting it through our compliances with our privacy policies.

  • Information is being collected when you access our website, application and/or other online (third party) services.
  • Information may also be collected via email, sms or other electronic communications medium
  • This policy doesn't apply to other third party software/services being used from this application and you must refer to the provider directly for thier privacy policy and data usage

The data centers (cloud service and databases) are located in your originating country and never moved outside.

Information we collect

    To process your order, notify you about your order status, to deliver your food at your specified location we collect your personal information like name, phone, address which is stored in our data center located in your residing country.
    To calculate distance between your home (or current location) and restaurant, we collect your device location. We also collect restaurant address and other information related to the restaurant.
    We are at PCI level 2 compliance, since we collect card information from hosted fields via javascript library from the card processor. We store no credit card information in our database. All data communications happens via secured HTTP (https) channel.
    Orders associated with users (name, phone, email etc) are stored in our database for analytical purposes.
We do not sell any information that we collect

Sharing information

    Our subsidiaries, affiliates who are under commone ownership, investors will have access to the information we collect. They are under contractual agreement to keep collected information private and secure.
    To a future buyer or merger of our company who will take full or partial ownership of our company, will have access to these collected data.
    LegalWe may need to share your information to comply with a legal process or investigation against fraud and similar. This may include sharing your information to government agencies, law enforcement, court etc provided if such situation arises. Information will be shared only when absoultely necessary and only to the extent of information that must be shared.
    Third party servicesWe use google maps API for address information. Twilio and SendGrid for SMS and email. Braintree payment services for credit card processing. The sharing of data that is transferred to the third party services, will be governed by the privacy policy of such service providers.

Protecting information

We implmented industry standard and best practices to authenticate users, secure the communication channel and preventive measure to avoid inappropriate access. For credit card processing we are compliant with payment card industry (PCI) standard.

Third Party services
We share minimal information (only what is needed) when we submit any information to third party services. We have no control over those service providers on how they capture or use the data we submit.

California Users
California law permits California residents to request and obtain (once a year) a FREE list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their personal information.

EU (GDPR) Users
EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has provided following rights to the EU residents

  • Right to information - including contact details to the DPO, the purposes for processing Personal Information and the rights of the individual.
  • Right to object
  • Right to access the Personal Information that are processed
  • Right to data protection
  • Right to erasure (”Right to be forgotten”)
  • Right to rectification

Informatin retention and deletion
If you want to close your account, it has to be done by sending us email from our contact us page. we may retain information about you for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Policy, unless data retention is prohibited by law.
